Market Study on Leasing Services
For the market leader in financial services in Poland, we conducted a market study on leasing services to help the company develop an effective growth and marketing communications strategy.
Project Objectives
The client set several tasks for us:
- an analysis of the popularity of leasing as a form of financing among Polish small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs),
- identifying the factors that companies consider when selecting a lessor,
- an assessment of the quality of leasing services offered in Poland,
- gathering information on plans for international expansion in the SME sector.
Project Details
In order to answer all of our client’s questions, we decided to conduct a market survey of leasing services using the CATI (Computer-Assisted Telephone Interviewing) method. We conducted over 400 interviews with a randomly selected sample.
We selected representatives of small and medium-sized private-sector companies as respondents. We reached out to business owners in the manufacturing, retail, construction, and service industries. We spoke exclusively with employees directly involved in the process of selecting a leasing service provider.
Project Results
Our client used the results of market research and analysis to tailor its current marketing communications to the expectations of the small and medium-sized enterprise sector.
He also developed an action plan that included information on:
- the requirements of customers from various sectors of the economy,
- the needs of companies based on the number of employees,
- factors that influence the choice of a leasing provider,
- companies' satisfaction with the quality of services provided by other lessors,
- factors that increase the likelihood of using leasing.

An Analysis of Poland's Regional Potential in the Context of the Aggregates Market
For one of Poland’s largest aggregate producers, the PMR team conducted a comprehensive market analysis broken down by province. The project aimed to identify the regions with the greatest growth potential, enabling the client to optimize its investment and logistics strategies.
Project Objectives
The goal of the project was to provide insights into the regional diversity of the Polish aggregates market. The client gained detailed insights that enabled better planning of development strategies and investments, with the goal of maximizing market share while minimizing logistics costs. This analysis served as the foundation for making informed business decisions and building a competitive advantage in the dynamic construction sector.
Project Details
As part of the project, PMR analyzed and forecasted nearly 300 time series—about 20 for each province. Each indicator was closely linked to the aggregates market and reflected the scale of the market’s potential in a given region. This provided an in-depth understanding of local conditions, trends, and growth opportunities.
These indicators were then used to develop PMR’s proprietary attractiveness index. This tool, based on a proven linear ordering method, objectively aggregates large datasets into a single indicator that directly answers the question of where the aggregate market’s potential is greatest. As a result, the client received clear and comparable results for all regions of Poland.
Project Results
The client received a detailed report that:
- He summarized the analysis and forecasts regarding the development of the aggregates market by province.
- He presented the results of the regional attractiveness index in a precise and clear manner.
- It highlighted the strengths and weaknesses of individual regions and provided basic information about each of them.
- He directly addressed the question of which regions of Poland should be of critical interest to the client.
What did the customer gain?
The PMR project enabled the client to:
- Identification of regions with the greatest market potential, which made it possible to focus investments and operational activities.
- Reducing logistics costs through improved distribution and warehousing planning.
- Building a competitive advantage by leveraging reliable market data and forecasts.
- Making informed business decisions based on PMR's proprietary analytical tools.
Project Summary
PMR’s analysis of the regional aggregates market’s potential provided a solid foundation for the strategic development of one of Poland’s largest aggregates producers. Thanks to a comprehensive research approach and practical recommendations, the client gained the tools to build a strong market position and implement ambitious investment plans.
