The year 2025 brings further, steady growth for the Polish ICT market. According to our report, “The ICT Market in Poland: Market Analysis and Growth Forecasts for 2025–2030,” the market’s value will reach approximately 131 billion PLN this year, representing growth of nearly 4% year-over-year. Factors contributing to the sector’s strong performance include, among others, rising public sector spending, funds from the National Recovery Plan and the new EU budget framework, as well as recovering private consumption and an acceleration in business investment.
The Polish ICT market continues to show positive growth despite significant risks in the economic environment. Among the most important are changes in international trade related to U.S. tariff policy, regulations on electricity prices, and the Monetary Policy Council’s decisions regarding interest rates. The development of artificial intelligence is also having an increasing impact on the market; on the one hand, it stimulates technological investment, while on the other, it leads to shortages of key components and rising prices throughout the supply chain.
– Despite these challenges, Poland remains an attractive destination for investors. The ICT market is benefiting from the ongoing need for digital transformation in both the private and public sectors. The number of companies operating in the industry has already exceeded 200,000, which represents more than a twofold increase compared to 2019.

In 2025, all segments of the IT market—hardware, services, and software—recorded positive growth. The hardware segment is growing the fastest, driven by consumer and business demand as well as government programs. As a result of the digitization of schools and the implementation of public projects, sales of laptops and tablets rose by as much as 32% this year. Large public tenders also provided a significant boost to the market. In August 2025, the results of a procurement process for the purchase of over 730,000 devices (laptops, tablets, and browser-based laptops) for schools throughout Poland were announced, with a total budget of 1.7 billion PLN.
Software vendors have also had a good year, particularly in the B2B segment and the public sector. The resumption of major implementation projects—which had been put on hold in previous years due to macroeconomic factors—led to an increase in corporate investment in specialized IT systems.
The ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) segment plays a key role in the software market structure, as it contributes the most to the value of business applications in Poland. This is driven, among other things, by preparations for the implementation of the National e-Invoice System (KSeF) and new ESG-related reporting requirements. Currently, one in three companies in Poland uses ERP systems, and an increasing number of implementations are being carried out in the cloud, at the expense of on-premise solutions.
Cybersecurity is becoming increasingly important in the structure of software spending. In 2025, corporate spending on network security applications and systems increased by about one-third, a result of ongoing digitization and the growing scale of threats related to data processing.
Although large companies remain the key customers for IT services, this year has definitely belonged to the public sector. Spending by the central and local governments rose by as much as 27% year-over-year, mainly due to the implementation of programs such as “Cybersecure Local Government” and projects to digitize education.
– The ICT market in Poland remains one of the key beneficiaries of digital transformation and public investment. Although the macroeconomic environment poses significant risks, the need to modernize infrastructure, implement IT systems, and enhance cybersecurity ensures that the sector maintains stable growth.
